... except Manafort was Trump's campaign manager. And when he was campaign manager, did all those deep relationships with the Russians suddenly disappear? I don't think so.
I won't be surprised if Manafort sings like a canary against Trump, in hopes of saving some of his own hide. There should be video cameras in the court, so that all can see and hear what takes place. This case will go deep into the heart of what this band of nefarious criminals has been trying to do to our country's integrity and future and we all should be able to witness it, as it happens.
If he can get the leg irons off for a few hours, he can get to Russia and avoid extradition for his state crimes.
I'd bet that Trump would fire-up his Boeing 757 and fly him there, if he could. Wouldn't it be a great day in our history, if Trump would join him on that one-way flight?

That's what I'm thinking. Trump is desperate to keep Manafort quiet. So he gets a message to him, maybe through his attorneys or his wife, to hang in there a little while longer and a full pardon is in the works.
If that’s the case, and Mueller or the FBI has any proof of that, then it’s obstruction especially if from Trump
Still up to the judge but the plea bargain is gone.
