I do think Trumps's willingness to fight back in general has helped show the GOP that they won't die if they fight back.
I wasn’t a fan of the mocking either. Be unflinching, but don’t add fuel to the fire.

It will be interesting to see what kind of ruckus and new "movements" the left creates when it comes time to fill RBG's slot in the next six years with a conservative female SC justice. Of course, that requires Trump to be reelected, but after witnessing this complete sh*t show of leftist arrogance and obstructionism, I don't think that possibility is too much of a long shot. If a useless, racist, lame duck apologist community organizer can do it, Trump sure can too!

I think most people wanted to mock Ford but were too afraid.
Trump pleased most of America when he mocked Ford, whether they admit it or not.
I think even Democrats don't like Ford, because she made a fool of them.

No, I think you have it backwards.

Most Americans were mocking Kavanaugh and his blatant lies.

Gorsuch didn't have skeletons in the closet and didn't lie on the stand.

If anything I thought Kavanaugh was actually too honest.
He kept emphasizing how much he liked beer.
He could have held back a lot, but was very forward and open.
It was very impressive.
Ford had no business even accusing Kavanaugh, given how vague her memories were.
And Kavanaugh is picked on for not remembering that he was "Bart"....when he provided far more detail than most people can recall from high school.
I can't remember any personal notes that I wrote in a high school year book, and I was at high school more recently than Kavanaugh.

We saw it when Bork was going to replace an assumed swing voter Justice. We saw it when a presumed Black Conservative was going to replace a Black Liberal Justice with the same sex crime tactics in use right now. As long as the perceived balance of power in the court is at stake we will see it in the future

Gamble v. US, actually.

It would have made zero difference what he said or what his demeanor was. Liberals would have picked apart every little thing and cast some negative light on it. It's just what they do. I mean, hell, in just seven days we went from him engaging in some intoxicated groping at a single party almost 40 years ago to him being a serial drugger and gang rapist throughout his college years. Jesus Christ himself could be on the stand and liberals would make him out to be Charlie Manson if it fit their agenda.

Yeah imagine going for a job interview and the board asking you questions about being a druggy and rapist despite you never even being arrested, never charged and never convicted....
