Hmmm it seemed Trump and the repugs folded when it came to child separation at the border. That was a fine example of leadership right into the gutter. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

What makes him so qualified? He's a partisan hack and THAT has almost cost him some other jobs.
1200 law professors, liberal conservative and everything in between have written that he should NOT be confirmed based on his extreme partianship.

Yeah; I was going to tell you that but I see you figured it out. Poor Trumpie.

LOL!

Most of them need an immediate MRI to see if they still have a backbone.

Dude. Did you even hear him? He was pretending to be Ford speaking in a falsetto and then asking her questions. It was mocking and did nothing to try and heal this country. It is the very definition of mocking.
You still don'tt get Trump. Go back into your hole.

You can't always find spotless candidates. Trump stuck with him. Anybody else would have withdrawn the nomination and flew to Camp David. Next month it is Brett who?

Come on. Trump is perfect. Republicans are perfect. How dare anyone criticizes Trump.
Hardly. Trump is obviously an imperfect man, but still better than the country destroying Obama and Bush.

i would suggest the Republicans avoid trying to put more partisan extremists on the bench. Kavanaugh is very likley to be impeached.. and that could start this all over again..

The bolded part is just as likely to be tactics. Keep cool when he sees a reason to be, disparage and humiliate others when it's to his advantage. In other words, flipping his manners off and on like a switch (although that doesn't quite explain his declining mental state, I don't see how this has any bearing on another aspect of his intelligence - conning, manipulation, showmanship).

It works for his base because his base confuses actual leadership with brash, cocky bullying. Not to mention his base thinks forcefulness (personal, even physical) is the most important litmus test for even non-deservance of disrespect.
