She's legally married to a black man, LMFAO you can't make this stuff up
Goes to show just how easy it is for corporate mainstream media to rile people people up based on race. People activate their emotional brain and cant think straight.
No he was not courteous. He was rude. A decent man would have buzzed in, then held the door for the woman and her dog.
If he felt the woman was going to accuse him of something, fine take out the camera. But nothing happened, and he posted it anyway.
The woman was already indoors and the dog was outside. Why would he hold the door for the woman? She was literally standing in the doorway. Also, if it's against the rules to hold the door for a stranger to let them in, why would he have done so? Your idea here makes no sense, given the context of what was happening.
The fact that so many people in this thread are attempting to defend the woman's actions, instead of simply saying "yes, the woman was wrong," is awfully disturbing.
She was being a jerk, period. If she was concerned that the guy didn't live there, it isn't her responsibility to challenge him, nor does she have authority to.
Nobody who is defending this woman is addressing her condescending attitude towards him the entire time.
Yes, she was holding the door open. She asked for him to show her his key fob. He did. That wasn't enough for her, so she got into the elevator with him, followed him to his apartment, watched him open the door with his key, then called the police. Someone said that he was being rude and belligerent for... I'm not sure what. I guess not taking out his identification? Not engaging in conversation with her? Not inviting her into his apartment? I have no idea.
Did he really show a unique key for that building? Did he buzz in? No. Instead this garbage story, about a woman married to a black man not allowing someone she didnt know into the building, is somehow proof of anything. Its not. Its nonsense.

Yes he did show his key. Go watch the video around the 1 minute mark. What does it matter that she has an estranged black husband? What are you disputing that the video proves?

Exactly. They could not possibly admit that someone was rude to the guy. So bizarre.

If the key is not unique to the building and he didnt buzz in, she is just giving strangers access to the building. Is she a bigoted racist as a result? "oh if he was white, she would have done this and that" is what people like you say. Really? Where is the proof? Her husband is even black. Is it proof of a grand white epidemic? Or is it a garbage story to rile people up and people are using their emotional brain and prejudice to jump to conclusions?

She asked him "do you have a key fob?" and he jingled it at her. So I'm not thinking it was just some generic key... why would she have even asked? I don't know what she would have done if he were white. Regardless, she is a lunatic. I do suspect that most on here would agree that she was rude if it were a white guy showing her his key and then walking calmly to his apartment while she ranted and raved and followed him and then called 911 after he let himself in with his own key.

That is nuts. She lives there. That means she has the authority to challenge anyone.
