The answer is that it is zero logic.

There is already a ban on murder. If a law (ban) were the answer to stopping murder, we would never have had a murder within the last two hundred and fifty years. The "missing link" in the Gun Control Tyrannist's mind is that such a tyrannist seems to unable to comprehend the notion that criminals break laws. They don't give a damn whether any given gun is banned or not--they are going to use them anyway.

Of course, the Gun Control Tyrannist will immediately start caterwauling and bleating in retort, "NOT IF THEY WERE ALL CONFISCATED!!!" Heroin is confiscated as well when it is found. Does that stop a junkie from shooting up?

Personally, I wish every Gun Control Tyrannist were a heroin junkie. It would keep his/her/its mind off seizing the rights of others.

The only way gun control would ever work is if the Gun Control Tyrannist could snap his ever so wise and all-seeing fingers, and every gun on planet earth suddenly vaporized and each of the some-odd billion human inhabitants on earth were suddenly denied the ability to devise a firearm. At that point, we'd have the same sociopaths beating us to death with clubs and stabbing us with knives. Big improvement, eh?

Which brings up a question for the Gun Control Tyrannist (GCT): in all the murders that take place with guns, knives, clubs, cars, paperclips, 2x4's, glass shards, toasters, rocks, USB cables, etc, what is the common element? Don't you think that common element might be worth looking into? (answer from GCT: no, it's the gun that's doing it, thus they must be banned)

That's a loony statement, and provocative.

I'm not a "right wing gun nut"- I don't have a gun and I'm not a Republican.
Right there is the evil in this mans heart for the people of his own country. The man is a Globalist and cares nothing about America or the people he serves.
A man willing to NUKE his own people...
Satan's Children, live among us.
That is ****ing EVIL.

Facetiousness aside, there's no way to misrepresent Nuke'em Swalwell's underlying implication... you'll do what his brand of government says, or else.

Really well lets bring in some mainstream news reports like NBC news and Washington times or USAtoday

what's even better is that the fascist liberals can not define what "military style" is
or..... what an assault weapon is

before he should be proposing a law the definition needs to be clearly established

define assault weapon.....

an ar15 is NOT an assault weapon

define (you want a ban/regulation) of what an assault weapon is

everyone of these ? is was an ar15 could have....with the exception of caliber size (and even that too)

is it caliber size
is it magazine(round storage) size
is it semi-auto
is it a handguard to protect the hands from a hot barrel
is it that it can have a scope mounted
is it that it can have a bipod mounted
is it because its (as the rolling stones said) Painted Black

nearly everyone of those option is available on nearly every weapon...to include handguns

the only one that is not available on nearly every weapon is: and its NOT available on the ar15 without an ILLEGAL mod....is it full auto

the ar15 is available:
in different calibers
in different magazine(round storage) size
in different styles of handguard to protect the hands from a hot barrel
in different scope mounts
in different bipod mounted
in different colors

nearly every rifle has those different options,,,over 65% of ALL rifles are semi

so if YOU are going to say BAN assault weapons LIKE the ar15...you are meaning nearly all rifles....AND HANDGUNS...... so make a definition otherwise you ARE SAYING ban them all..including handguns and pump shotguns

what about my tube magazine lever action Henry 44mag rifle (like what the "Rifleman" had but full length )

so which is it ...ban an UNDEFINED set of weapons(which really means ban all).. or maintain our constitutional rights that shall no be infringed

You're messed up when you can't face the truth. We know exactly what this communist said. He's been touting the same thing since he got elected.

Go back to your anger. It's all you've got. The guns aren't improving your standard of living while the 1% pilfer everything. "Communist" You live in a corporate oligarchy and you're still operating on 1950's cliches, waiting for the government to come and get you when they don't need to take your gun to rob you blind.

Trumplings and their civil war talk. How quaint.

Like what? The communist manifesto? I've read it. No thanks. I probably read more books in one year than you've read your entire life.

Proposing to strip a populace of its constitutional right is not trying to have a respectful conversation. The fact that this moron stated the idea of having firearms to protect oneself from the government is absurd shows exactly how misinformed and stupid he really is. That is EXACTLY what the writers had in mind. They certainly didn't have duck hunting in mind. They'd just come off from a war to lift the shackles of an overreaching government and they were in no mood to replace tyranny with more tyranny. They knew what would eventually happen and they were giving the population a way of preventing it.

Yep. If a car thief knocks on your door before he takes your new Lexus and hands you fifty dollars, is taking the Lexus any less a case of robbery?
Analogies just aren't your thing.

The guy needs to be fired immediately and jailed (perhaps after a public tar and feathering). He's obviously a fox let loose in the hen house, who is lamenting the fact that the hens all have lethal weapons... which makes the fox's job very tough.

If you think they are robbing you blind now (which I certainly do not deny), wait until they take your guns away.
