Just like the CIA and the FBI have tried to trap Trump. Trumps ego, is way bigger than Nixon and is his saving grace in all this Fake Scandal. A lesser man would have crumbled by now(Nixon)
Can't believe you can even type out nonsense like that.

Over time, I have learned that he should not have been on the first three Forbes 400 lists at all. In our first-ever list, in 1982, we included him at $100 million, but Trump was actually worth roughly $5 million — a paltry sum by the standards of his super-monied peers — as a spate of government reports and books showed only much later.
Remember that his father gave him much of his wealth.

This is how he really got rich, but he is not as rich as he pretends

Quote:
Donald Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire. What’s more, much of this money came to Mr. Trump through dubious tax schemes he participated in during the 1990s, including instances of outright fraud, The Times found.
He did not do it himself.

Quote:
In every era of Mr. Trump’s life, his finances were deeply entwined with, and dependent on, his father’s wealth. By age 3, he was earning $200,000 a year in today’s dollars from his father’s empire. He was a millionaire by age 8. In his 40s and 50s, he was receiving more than $5 million a year.
Trump has had six bankruptcies, and the banks all over the world will no longer lend him any money, with only two exceptions… wait for it: Iran, and Russia. And, in the final months leading up to his election, it appears he may have tapped out those Russian banks, which are owned by Russian Oligarchs who are the same guys who make up the Kremlin.

Trump's whole deal is NOT being a politician. Which is what the people wanted. The people were tired of these slick shyster lawyers...we've had far too many of these people as it is, and they almost always do a terrible job.

From starting civil wars to bankrupting the country to just sheer incompetence, they largely and almost always just suck.

With the exception of Nixon, there hasn't been a decent lawyer president since Adams.
That is correct on the politicians.

However Trump has had way too much turnover -- he's not doing his homework, he's not getting the right guys in there, and he's not taking the advice of others. And yeah, as a Trump voter, it is disturbing.

The law does say a president can remove the Fed chair for cause without defining what cause is.

Any business man worth his salt who had dealt with interest rate and liquidity issues caused by various Fed chairmen and with Fed policies over the 50 years he has been in business...
Any man who has donated to politicians and pal-ed around with politicians over the years...
Any man claiming to be a Wharton business graduate...
Any man who has the gall to think he is competent to run for President (3 times all total)...
And finally--
Any man who IS POTUS and actually APPOINTS someone to be Fed chairman...

And does not know this is an appointment for a specific term and not a "fire-able" contestant...

Well, that man is just an idiot...

totally unconcerned with who he puts in one of the most powerful and unrestrained-from-his-influence posts,
Someone who orchestrates the American monetary system, the American dollar and thus its global influence, and has tremendous power to thwart a President's policies and objectives...

Johnson went through battles with McChesney but Johnson never asked anyone if he couldn't just 'fire him" to find someone more willing to kowtow to his wishes...

This whining about why he can't just fire Powell and install some lickspittal to smooth out fissures causing Trump problems with the economy and the market are markers of Trump's "business" attitude maybe--
If someone doesn't give the boss results that s/he like--when the boss is responsible for poor communication, and created part of the problems to start with--maybe the boss can fire that employee--
But it doesn't happen that way between the Fed Chairman and the President...

He certainly knew Kavanaugh was a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court--
He wanted him in there where he couldn't be prised out because he is viewed as a conservatist' wet dream
Lot of self-protection involved with that choice as well...
Powell was just another job slot he had to nominate someone to fill--and maybe he thought Powell would be grateful to get the nod that he would kiss the ring when asked...
Didn't spend lot of time analyzing the man--probably spent no time at all considering various situations that might occur and forecasting how Powell might respond--
Wonder how long the interview lasted if there was one face to face...

Kicking the door he stubs his toe on is an immature action by a child which you might excuse--
But acting like a child when faced with a situation HE is responsible for--that's pure Trump

Just another example of why he is an embarassment to himself and this country...
So Trump is not what you are used to.

We didn't want another predictable politician.

Schumer claims Trump wants a wall to fulfill a campaign promise, not for any practical purpose. So basically Schumer considers any campaign promise made by a politician, to be bait used to garner votes. Schumer advocate a campaigning politician to say things that will never be delivered.

Obama lied his aze off. He demonstrated gross incompetence seen as bad judgment, expected from a community organizer with no resume.

Hillary lied and schemed, rigged the dem primary and she is preferable to Trump?

GWB, the liberals called a fool, tricked Hillary into voting to invade Iraq.

Trump beat 16 other repub veteran politicians thru ???stupidity????

Now your predictability is gone with Trump at the helm, you are absolutely lost and lashing out in redirected aggression.

Claiming that Trump is different and unpredictable isn't working anymore, I would say that most of his supporters thought that he was an savvy intelligent businessman. No one bargained for this mess, he has already fired or replaced anyone that he possibly could but he should know that he just cant fire judges and the fed chairman, His preference is the model in countries like Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey where they can pretty much do as they like, he should be smart enough to know his limits.

You cant just explain away his utter stupidity by "he's different". I see he fired Mattis effect Jan 1 instead of allowing him to leave, its pretty obvious Trump didn't even read Mattis resignation letter. He was praising his departure until the media made a big deal about the letter, then he took some time and became angry.

I wasn't questioning anything at all, let alone Buckeye's claim Trump actually is president - including Trump's grip on reality. Buckeye's "Covfefe, baby" remark means this: Trump is actually an incompetent president, and by implication expresses agreement with the OP. I built on that saying that Trump's own bizarre Covfefe tweet is further evidence of his shocking, shocking incompetence. Hell, even a 4th grader can figure out that much!

No, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I think you saw the meaning of my post, especially juxtaposed against the first two. You're simply trying to twist and distort my posts meaning. Put bluntly, you're being dishonest.
lol once again - and speaking of reading comprehension issues, you got'em in spades. "Covfefe baby" does not in any way mean anything about the Trump presidency. It is more of an encouraging cheer, like "right on" or "you da man" or....
