US $20 trillion
Canada $1.6 trillion

So...OP since you're telling us that life is so much better in Canada, then I have a question for you. Why are you wintering in the US? One would think that you would want to stay in your own country all year round.

A lot of people go to Mexico or Jamaica for the winter as well, doesn't mean they're better countries to live in.

Dems have thought this for a very long time "The American Dream" cannot be achieved.....

Why do you think they want everyone on some type of government program?

Wrong, as Canada is still tied to the United Kingdom. They'd be just fine without us

They also have only 10% of our population, so per capita it's closer than you make it appear....

What about total costs to live? Once you include things like healthcare?

Having spent a lot of time working in Canada and living in Europe. I like Canada (was there this year). That said, almost without exception my Canadian engineers wanted badly to move to the states. One of the main complaints....wait times for healthcare services. Heaven help you if you need a hip or knee replacement within a reasonable time! The other complaint...the weather sucks.
