Many conservatives are probably fine with an economic meltdown as long as the people they hate (brown people, immigrants, gays, non-Christians) suffer. They are even willing to suffer themselves as long as they can make the people they hate suffer.
You might be surprised who is financially assisting these churches including your own. My mom's church cooked and delivered for . . . Meals on Wheels. Even with volunteer labor, these programs cost money. But if they're doing it on their own, good for them!

For those that have not watched the video, you have great depression era riots with thousands of people smashing in windows and destroying business and other buildings and the military is called in to crush them and occurred all over the country.
