You might be surprised who is financially assisting these churches including your own. My mom's church cooked and delivered for . . . Meals on Wheels. Even with volunteer labor, these programs cost money. But if they're doing it on their own, good for them!

National news says the program is funded through the end of January, but word on the street says it's not happening.

Are poor people in other states faced with the same problem?
I just noticed the bold when T-310 quoted it. Seriously, do you believe everything you hear "on the street"? USDA (that's Department of AGRICULTURE for those of you who don't believe SNAP is part of the farm program) says through February.

Wish there were better clips made than this:

^ like that has changed ...

Interesting video that deserves a thread of its own.
For those that have not watched the video, you have great depression era riots with thousands of people smashing in windows and destroying business and other buildings and the military is called in to crush them and occurred all over the country.

I guess so my man. Never been to one or even a 2 bit fancy house.

If you peeps want to worry about peeps eating then just think of the money blown on the last 3 failed wars under Bush 1 and 2. That could have built a million MC D's and fed millions of peeps.

It's always a good idea not to assume the gender of other posters.
