San Mateo is in the Bay Area. You'd get assaulted here just for wearing the hat and walking down the street. That said, I think it'd be funny for Trump supporters to sue for discrimination just to make a point to hypocrites.

So what was the point of the owner’s preemptive strike? I think he’s looking for publicity. Or attention.

Now that he made his “announcement”, it is far more likely to actually happen than it was before he opened his yap.
He walked it back very quickly... his staff threatened to quit and his partners threatened to kick him to the curb for his stupidity.

Would you also think it would make sense for Puzzy wearing hat people to sue for discrimination because they weren't allowed to enter a Trump rally, even though they had tickets and others around them were allowed to enter?

Two things.

1. If that is true, it should not have happened.

2. No, I will not wade through anything. Your claim, your responsibility to support it. Don't ask me to make your argument for you.

People should know better than not to wear a hat at the table.

and the easily triggered should realize that it is just a hat and that it won't hurt you.

Does the MAGA hat give anyone special powers? If the guy wears the hat you fear him. If he takes off the hat and leaves it in the car isn't he the same guy but then you don't fear him or do you?

Since the majority of MAGA hat wearing people are white would this example be a case of reverse discrimination?

[quote=bawac34618;54316123]The restaurant is in California so it’s probably not 30-40% of the electorate. More like 25% tops.

Maybe, but profit margins for restaraunts are way below 25%.

People who virtue signal don't really have principled stands; and, as this guy found out, the "post Covington High" era has changed the calculus of virtue signaling.
