I guess you sort of beat me to that point.
I've got my finger on the pulse of the statist mind.

You can decide that you will not serve people in green shirts, green shirts are not a protected class even though the person wearing the shirt is protected on the basis of race, sex, religion, etc. Green shirts are not a race, religion, sex, or any other protected class.
What if I identify as a green shirt as my race, religion, or sex though?

That's the whole point of all this.

Once you socially construct something (beginning with the glorious social contract which puts all of this in motion) each member of the collective/society (aka the individuals) has the right to pick and choose their constructs.

I mean...if we are being logically and morally consistent under the paradigm of statism (which in reality is the exact opposite of logical and moral consistency but as T0103E noted...I'm just having fun here ) then I can surely identify my "race" as "green shirt".

No, not everyone is part of a protected class.

Really? Everyone has a sex, race, age, religion (yes atheist applies for purposes of laws), in some state sexual orientation.

Private company. Their right. Of course with millions of Trump supporters in existence, it's their loss.

Sure they are. That's the basic idea....Human Rights. Equality.

The only reason the issue came up is that, under the law and practice of many of these US states, this was NOT the case.

Actually, I'd be glad to know they feel that way. It identifies them as leftists who I wouldn't want to benefit from my money.

Who knows what they'd do to the food.

I agree one must be consistent.

I am 100% against forcing anyone to serve anyone they have a moral conviction against serving.

Time will tell. I can tell you this much - Zuck and Bezos beat all projections so the Trump supporters who hate the WaPo and liberal bent of those folks sure aren't doing them any harm.

There is a local and national business here that has shunned Trump....BIG TIME. They are thriving. Penzys Spices.....4.6 Google Ratings.....
" love spending my money somewhere that supports my values!"
"Great products, great service, and a wonderful philosophy. I highly recommend them."

Remember - it's Trump Casinos, Ivanka clothing and vast others of that brand that have hurt. Decent businesses often stand up for values. Costco is amazing popular - partially because it is know they pay $20 per hour and don't treat their workers like slaves.

This is great. IMHO.
