When I was brought up, you didn't wear a hat at the table anyway.

Two of the reasonss for Trump declaring for 2020 so early were $ and control. The campaign apparatus pays for the rallies, so they don't have to follow rules that they would if taxpayer money was involved.

I dont insist you believe me. I remember it happened. It was cheered during a heated campaign season. Dont feel the need to dig it up. Just sayin- its not against the law to discriminate based on political leanings. At least thats what i took away from it. I thought it was pretty screwed up, but then again, if it were my rental unit and my renters had a hillary sign, id insist they remove it on account of liability. I wouldnt evict though. I would expect a lawsuit if i did.

Property rights are absolute.

No MAGA hats, no whites, no short people, no whatever. It's your property you can do whatever you want with it.

The free market will decide.

Any business have the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime. I bet the OP wouldn’t complain if they refused to serve Nancy.

The only case I found was in Oakland and the landlord was the Trump supporter and was the one that evicted a man on Christmas day. The landlord was the one that put up a Trump sign when he bought the building.

All this political separation has gotten out of hand! Jeez. All of us need to lighten up. Although important, one's alliance to one politician or another shouldn't trigger hatred!!!!!!! It's so childish....really it is.

You may have misunderstood. Restaurants have always reserved the right not to serve someone. They may refuse someone who's barefoot, for instance. What they should not be doing, however, is refusing on the basis of a protected class, such as race.

Why can't someone just identify as a protected class then?
