You're so generous with other people's money. Just like a leftwinger. Maybe YOU could step up and help the people you are demanding Christians pay for.

Did you miss the part where Samaritan members volunteer money to folks with conditions not covered under Samaritan?

It's a damn shame that only catastrophic plans can't be a choice for the general public.

Did you miss the part where they didn't step up to help the couple who adopted? Guess they deemed your knee surgery was more worthy.

A pure charity is one that provides assistance in whatever form with no criteria that must be met your co-op is anything but that. I have never seen a shelter or food bank ask for proof of faith and conduct before assisting someone..
I don't understand why you think Samaritan should administer welfare. Unlike the government, Samaritan has to stay solvent in order to keep serving people.

100% agree. Welcome to 0bamacare where you ARE FORCED to pay for immoral birth control or abortion. UNDER PENALTY OF LAW-- until President Trump came along. Talking about forcing an agenda on people.

Why is not the sin of gluttony among the rules to disqualify?

Basically, they were totally fine with relying on the government for any costs that were not shared by Samaritan.
Thanks for the anecdote. Were they members of Samaritan?

I do help pay for medical treatments for Christians that Samaritan Ministries refuses to cover.

We all do, through higher insurance premiums, Medicaid, unpaid medical bills that raise the cost for those who do pay, ...

Samaritan Ministries is not health insurance. It is not a charity.

Samaritan Ministries is a strategy for a select group of Christians to offload expensive medical treatments for their members off on the rest of us.

If you irreligious folks hate Christians so much, why not start your own plan that pays for pre-existing conditions, where people can game the system, where nobody cares about anybody else. But you have to have an unlimited source of funding from somewhere else to pay for it all since there is no way in hell it can be self-sustaining like Samaritan..

Oh wait. We have that, already. It's called 0bummercare.
