Neither Mexico nor Mexican companies are paying these taxes/tariffs. American consumers are.

What is so difficult about this concept?

Reps to both of you.

Yes, exactly right. American consumers are ultimately paying for "Mexico's" tariffs. Americans who champion this as a way of making Mexico pay for the wall are either ignorant of how businesses work, or are being intentionally obtuse.

"Crickets chirping" on your very good point.

It's a terrible point and it has been addressed at least three times.

Trump said in his speech in the rose garden, that he did not need to do the wall quickly, apparently he needs to tear our country apart, so he can campaign and take us down the stupid road, again. I hope he is not going to take the need for decent military housing, infrastructure, money from more important issues away from Americans.

Having a president and commander in chief, who is for his own ego is getting ridiculous and ever so tiring.

Is he trying to pad his pockets, somehow, with "our," money?
"Bi-Partisan, negotiating and adults compromised on the bill; something your president seems to know nothing about."

What alternative world do you live in?

He JUST SIGNED a COMPROMISE BILL and it is NOT his FIRST! if you expanded where you get your "news", you would KNOW THAT!

"His "my way or the highway," Isn't that the SAME thing nancy and chucky said?

Unlike your buddy, "I have a pen and a phone", who signed orders bypassing Congress and having MORE overturned by the courts then any other president, SOME by a 9-0 vote.

After OCare was passed to "help" so many people, why did he grant OVER 2 HUNDRED EXEMPTIONS, mostly to supporters?

Why did he IGNORE a part of the law which stipulated business had to comply for a provision in the law by date IN THE LAW?

Many on here are PURE HYPOCRITES, They NEVER complained back when THEIR party ran either the White House, the Senate OR the House but when the party in control changes hand oh, the HORROR ABOUT EVERYTHING done NOW and NEVER when it happened under THEIR party and bu THEIR guys!

THAT kind of, "my way or the highway"?

Picture the invasion (here he draws a lot on the caravans, who are largely irrelevant to the wall decision or effectiveness) ... and the three women with tape on their mouths.

That said, I doubt many landowners would concur with you that a wall several yards in width but stretching the length of their property truncating it isn't much to concern themselves with. In some situations, entire properties will be seized. Or be made useless.

Again, please understand. If there is a reason for that to occur after that cost-benefit analysis mentioned earlier - with no viable alternatives - then fine. Trump, however, has not been persuasive here - the three women with tape on their mouths aside. He's STILL bringing them up when challenged. Did it the other day. Try to talk about drugs, he talks about the women.
Do you have ANY INKLING as to how many people in America have had eminent domain used against them "for the greater good"? A new road, bridge, buildings etc.

Some of you act this is the 1st time HISTORY that it might be used!

"I doubt many landowners would concur.."

I LOVE these kinds of "I KNOW what others think" claims. NO data, no PROOF, hasn't ACTUALLY TALKED TO ANYONE INVOLVED, just an opinion based on NOTHING but their own opinions.

There have been MANY land owners interviewed on TV who WANT "walls" build, because of the dangers and havoc illegals have and CONTINUE to cause on their properties.

Possible but were it a 'real emergency' this would have been the number one thing on his agenda. Instead, it was a tax break for the 1%. Some emergency, eh?

And Trump is silent when homegrown Americans kill their own. Does one death matter more than another? Come on; we have to get real here.

Trump stood in the Rose Garden and let loose a stream of consciousness than even his supporters had difficulty interpreting. He garbled out lie after lie after lie. When questioned - he indicated that his own administration's statistics were fake news. He sought to further divide this country (all he knows how to do) by indicating that the 'real Americans' were for the wall when nothing is further from the truth.

He did some kind of sing-song rap about the legal process that would be underway (straight outta the mouth of Hannity).

In short, that was one of the most idiotic press conferences I have ever seen.

Lastly, WHY does he keep calling on Acosta if he hates him so much???
"In the meantime, several Texans who would lose their personal and private property have already filed suit because this is real to them."

AND there are others who WANT the protection a wall would help prevent.

Of course you don't know about any of them because YOUR "MOUTHS" for news, CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC and the likes of Maddow, Mathews, etc,on them WON'T show THEM because it doesn't fit their "narrative"!

I say, let those that do NOT want a "wall" have heir way.

We KNOW where there ARE walls, LESS illegal crossings and all the other bad things that go along with illegals crossing be funneled to those who do NOT want a "wall"

Those WITH walls will stand a much BETTER chance of NOT having to deal with the problems.
