It has been discussed that a reasonable response to Republicans stealing garlands seat that expanding the supreme court, and adding additional district courts is a good idea.
The district court expansion is in fact a good idea for non-political reasons as the case load is staggering and inefficient. The supreme court expansion however is a purely political idea. But either topic will be intensely partisan. However given the GOPs willingness to ignore the norms, the Democrat base is saying they want to stop abiding by them as well.

If Democrats had the majority in the Senate you think they would vote for Kavanaugh or tell Trump don't bother with the nomination.
Democrats want to change the Electoral College and stack the Supreme Court and then they blame Trump and Republicans for trying to change the foundation of the constitution and ignore the norms.

This is where I truly feel a lot of people (not reflected on this board) feel. They are just tired of it, nothing happened, move on. I know I’d like to see what Nunes comes up with but this harping and constant bashing is not going to get the opposition party anywhere. Again not that I mind but they have yet to argue why their policies whatever they may be are better. They are more conte or with screaming and making ludicrous statements.
