"like" But

No.

A non-binding resolution is not a bill.
I can remember School House Rock again.

The following site points you to some of the differences -->
https://www.lexisnexis.com/help/cu/S...bout_Bills.htm

Republicans are attempting to manipulate unaware yet zealous voters, which make up their base of rich (mostly intellectuals) and anti-intellectuals.

If they wanted this to be just dialogue, then it should have stayed as such, instead, they created a resolution.
They wanted it to be a CONGRESSIONAL public dialogue, which requires a resolution.

Why did the Democrats not vote yes?
Because they asked the Republicans to please not vote on it as a bill. It has not yet been modified beyond simple platitudes and goals. It is not a bill.

The intolerant and hypocritical Republicans simply boycotted with their union (party) like they do excessively with the Filibuster and other ways to ensnarl Congress and shut down the Government of the People.

The Democrats must of thought liberal voters are dumb... They sent a bill which would not pass but even then would not vote Yes on it for fear of being called stupid so they voted Present which essentially means they didn't even believe the BS that they wrote and hope voters don't notice... I guess we will find out if liberal voters are truly that stupid...

There was no debate, no experts and do tell what they were actually voting on, were there any specifics. Maybe you can tell me what the republicans were actually voting on.

I'm hoping McConnell will allow a vote to make the Mueller report available, but he seems to choose his spots like avoiding a vote on a supreme court judge.

It was a resolution in the belief of these ideals... Apparently even the Democrats couldn't bring themselves to vote for those pages of BS that they wrote...

There was a resolution/resolve, Yes. It talked about things like "Congress will be working with the farming industry to come up with solutions..." Nothing that Republicans would want to hear or allow to be discussed.

But Republicans are never punished for their shenanigans. Even the Tea-Party folded like a cheap ****.

It is important to look at the details.

Public hearings and expert testimony are direly required.

If Trump is any indication. And the cycles of dumb voting continue as they always have.
With this accusation of yours, she will be more than qualified to win an upcoming American Presidential race by a landslide.

Keep on hyping up her name with false slander, and she will keep proving you wrong.

The Liberati are worried and the Conserverati are squirming,

All empty desire and in vain, like their politics. None of it patriotic.

Moving the goal posts now?

We can't even talk about it now?

Pathetic defense mechanisms of the deeply corrupted and naively apathetic.

How about public hearings and expert testimony right now instead of hiding in the shadows?

The democrats wanted a hearing and a debate on green energy, this was just McConnell playing games.
McConnell and the GOP are still in denial, it would have been nice to have a serious discussion since the rest of the world is in agreement of the threat. The democrats are in fact interested in addressing climate change but they made this into a charade.

Good lord people have been talking about it for years. When you get the biggest polluting countries on the planet to near the same level we already have attained then we can talk about possibly destroying the US economy.
