Typical Washington politics. She's being punished for boycotting the AIPAC conference. She might be too new to Washington to recognize that the Jewish power brokers hold the keys to Congress and that it's not smart to demonstrate her anti-Semitism so openly. She was very daft to openly insult the main Jewish advocacy group in America. Going after Israel is something you DO NOT do in Washington. Glad other Democrats are equally stupid. Perhaps we will see the power brokers realign behind Trump if this continues.

How do you boil a frog?

For those of you that know the answer, you know that the Democrat party isn't disputing Cortez' intent, just her method. She tried to do everything all at once instead of playing the long game.

Au contraire...she occupies your mind space and that of many conservatives which is power.

The way she makes the right squirm is priceless!

Well played.

There was no reason to vote for this right now.

No need to vote for garbage right now? If it is truly a good plan you should be able to vote for it whenever.

Anyone who doesn't think AOC has gotten lots of favorable attention from liberal media sources is nuts, ignorant, or a liar --- just like AOC herself.

Tom Perez, head of the DNC, said AOC was the future of the Democratic Party.

NPR compared her to FDR in her ability to communicate.

No shortage of concrete thinkers in the world.

In the US, there is a tendency among those with cognitive limitations to view most everything in terms of black and white.

They are challenged to grasp that not all Fill in the Blank think, act and vote alike.

There are different brands within all political parties, ideologies, ethnicities, races, genders and religions.

AOC is no more representative of all liberals, than the Nazi who is the perennial Republican candidate for Congress in a Chicago suburb, is representative of all conservatives.

Seems to me both AOC and Trump use the same playbook to command more than their so called fair share of media attention. Who knows? Maybe AOC will run for President in 45 years.

Bingo. "We'll just take some of the DoD's appropriated monies to fund universal healthcare and to pay for full tuition at any public university for qualifying students."

I'm sure the Build-The-Wall crowd would be A-OK with that during the next Administration, yes?
