Nope, it would have failed if the Democrats voted yes or no on it. Instead they voted present to hide from the American people where they stand on this issue. They know it’s unpopular, but they’re content to wait until they have majorities in both the house and Senate to get it done. They just don’t want you to know. Look at prominent Dems who came out against. Almost all I read weren’t against the bill itself, but against telling the people that. See Rahm Emmanuel.

Ain't happening.
If they were truly terrified of the world ending in 12 years, then why does the resolution say no to nuclear? If they were truly worried, they would be voting to build more nuclear power plants as fast as they could make them.

You could have just typed the part in bold and left out the rest.

I was actually hoping for more Democrats to support the Green New Deal and to be anti-Israel to hurt their chances. Maybe they're not as stupid as we thought.

But even Ilhan Omar, Rashid Tlaib, Bernie Sanders, and Pocahontas threw AOC under the bus?? Wow they really eat their own.

but you see they ARE anti israel and pro green new deal, but they dont have to courage to stand up and actually support these platforms, because they know they will be eviscerated either by the others in their party or by trump in the general election.

so they hide behind a general, "no hate" non binding resolution, and voting present for the GND. that way they can use the john kerry line, i was for before i was against it.

EOs are not open ended like that. They have to be in line with the charter of the Executive. Where would POTUS derive a constitutional obligation regarding health insurance?

Washington (CNN) There's no politician -- not one -- who has risen further faster than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Two years ago at this time, she was bartending and waitressing in New York. Now the New York congresswoman is the face of the liberal left in the Democratic Party nationally.
