I can remember School House Rock again.

The following site points you to some of the differences -->
https://www.lexisnexis.com/help/cu/S...bout_Bills.htm

Republicans are attempting to manipulate unaware yet zealous voters, which make up their base of rich (mostly intellectuals) and anti-intellectuals.

They wanted it to be a CONGRESSIONAL public dialogue, which requires a resolution.

Because they asked the Republicans to please not vote on it as a bill. It has not yet been modified beyond simple platitudes and goals. It is not a bill.

The intolerant and hypocritical Republicans simply boycotted with their union (party) like they do excessively with the Filibuster and other ways to ensnarl Congress and shut down the Government of the People.
Thanks for the tutorial.

It is amazing the number of people so willing to flaunt ignorance.

It is the same thing with globalism being a bad thing. They never thought that every time the went to the cash register to purchase cheap Chinese crap, they were raising the standard of living in China. Now the Chinese own us. But, that means they will never get in a war with us. You don't fight trading partners.

Ocasio-Cortez got her 15 minutes of (undeserved) fame.

Time to move along now.

McConnell was called out for doing what he says he does not do. A show vote. Maybe he should be voting on that GOP Health care plan. Trump care, you know the one Trump promised would give healthcare to all.

That would certainly be a more apropos piece of legislation to vote on, given the recent actions from the White House.

Now, where did they put that healthcare plan? Must have left it in their other pants....

Dems slap AOC in the face. 0-57 vote on GND.

But ... but .... I thought it was all the Conservatives who were afraid of her?

Eventually the US is going to go 100 percent renewable but the GND was to radical for most of the politicians to swallow. In order to get something like that passed there would need to be a serious leftist coalition in the government instead of just a handful.

Democrats said that climate change is the most important thing facing out generation. That the world will end in 12 years if something isn't done.

Don't you think that is important for consideration or are you saying the Democrats are wrong? Your choice.

Its not really that the world will end but there will be more extreme weather events more droughts and the like. All of that is bad and should be addressed but it needs to be done in a pragmatic way.
