Do you have a problem with the "book smart" crowd?
I've been reading non-stop since I was 6 years old (I'm 71 now.) I have been known to read a full-length novel in a day. When I was younger, I was often passed over by jocks who were more interested in flashier girls/women. Never bothered me, there were and are plenty of other fish in the sea. I wasn't interested in guys who had nothing going on upstairs anyway, no matter how good-looking they were.

You can be a 10/10 in the looks department, but if your personality is flatter than Kansas or if we don't have any common ground to start from, then you're nothing more than eye candy for me. I like my women smart and strong. I'm not attracted to pushovers or basic "boy-crazy" types. But, hey, you do you.
South Florida has a pretty strong "bro" culture. You'd probably like someplace like Seattle or Boston.
I don't have the financial means to move right now. I am doing my part to try to save my stepfather's business down in Coral Springs, because we're in a tight spot.
Of all the "homosexuality is threatening the sanctity of marriage" BS I hear from people, I hear it most from young white women (generally, attractive and popular---the sorority sister type). I find this to be blatantly ironic, because it's coming from the demographic cohort that drinks the most, swears the most and sleeps around like crazy. It's almost as if they hate the idea of being able to own every man on the market.
They probably want to set themselves apart from the notoriously unattractive SJW girls.

They are probably just mouthing off that a lot of the good looking men are gay. I hear comments like that, it doesn't mean they oppose gay marriage.

Locality matters, I guess. Perhaps, you hang around the book-smart youths (I am one of them). They tend to be more open-minded than athletes, cheerleaders, Greek Life types, etc.
Those types you mention tend to be less educated by choice, less cosmopolitan and also more religiously driven.....though their sexual antics don’t really conform to their so called Christian values. But they have no problem with their sexual contradictions, or their bigotry. So yeah, those types of girls are against gay marriage.
I don't want to over think this one, but maybe... Just maybe that Young White Women like "Richard."
