Trump Wants to Know If He Can Buy Greenland (vs, Louisiana, constitution)

If Trump somehow managed to buy Greenland, it would make me proud as an American. We'd expend our borders, have a new cool vacation destination without the need of a passport.
Unlike most, I've actually been there. Unless you like seal hunting and rock climbing, not much to do.
Actually, it's just that Trump is profoundly upset because an anonymous source has uncovered his true intention for Greenland. Thanks to this anonymous source, the entire deal and evil scheme behind it fell through. Evidently, according to this unnamed source, Trump intended to acquire Greenland and rename it "Liberal Island."
He, in an attempt to hide his mother-of-all-evil schemes, was going to make Liberal Island irresistible for Joe and Jane Liberal (both Xhe, so don't be offended). There was to be free health care, free education, forgiveness for ANY outstanding debt, all the pot, crack, LSD, and opioids one could ever want (no tobacco though, because that's bad for you... oh, and no plastic straws), houses of ill-repute for ANY sexual preference imaginable on each street corner (woof, woof, wink, wink), two Planned Parenthood clinics per block, and a golden statue of Lenin, dressed in drag, in each city center, gender transformation centers aplenty, crying rooms/safe spaces/fidget spinners were to be provided with each flat, all electric autos, no aircraft, and best of all, no middle-aged white males were to be allowed on the island. Imbecile Omar and Occluded Cortex were to run the place. And of course the climate on the island, due to global warming, was to be similar to balmy San Diego. A veritable Utopia... At least that was the claim.
But by God, the cat is out of the bag now. Behind this nirvana-like facade, a horrendously evil plot was in the making--some say it was all Pence's idea, but perhaps Trump is simply using Pence as a scapegoat. Trump's real intention was to build over three dozen cleverly disguised "entry resorts" sporting well-hidden "showers" and crematoriums. These "resorts" were going to be claimed to be ports of entry into Liberal Island's interior Utopia. But in reality, the "resorts" were to be the end of the line for unsuspecting liberals. Luckily Trump's plan to implement what would have obviously been death camps was narrowly averted, thanks to this anonymous source.
All this angst, chest beating and hair pulling, I doubt there was much notice when we bought the US Virgin Islands, (the Danish West Indies), from Denmark in 1917.
Of course Trump wasn't President then, democrat Woodrow Wilson was, so that was OK.
Willing buyer, willing seller.

I don't think Trump understands the concept of Greenland belongs to Greenland, the people are Greenlandic. Greenland has a Queen, Canada has a Queen, Australia has a Queen, they are independent countries. As the PM said, we are well past the days of buying countries.
Trump does not realize how absurd it is to cancel an invitation from the Queen because he is absurd. He is the laughing stock of the world for having such a crazy ideas.

The Denmark trip has been planned weeks in advance. Denmark had already spent significant amount of time & expense preparing for it. What Trump did was extremely insulting.
Makes me wonder how many other countries are going to invite him now that he's pulled this on Denmark....

I couldn't believe what I was hearing when he said "I am the chosen one." Delusions of grandeur, insulting Queens. As the Danes said, every day we think it can't get worse, and then Trump succeeds. He seems to have developed something of a god complex as president.
And along the way, insist that it's not brutish at all, but in fact a genius plan.
Trump will spread crap over everything he touches, and his followers will - at the same time:
Insist that it's not crap, it's sophisticated aftershave, and anyone calling it crap suffers from TDS, yet also:
Laugh at everybody for having to smell Trump's crap.
And in my opinion, this comes from two things:
1) Backlash. Some people know Trump is a con man and do not care. Some people like what he's doing. Claiming that someone has TDS is their way of lashing out at those who are left wingers, or anyone who doesn't agree with Trump.
2) Pride. Some people know Trump is doing wrong, but won't admit it. They know they have supported a con man, and they feel stupid for doing so. However, they'll never admit.
