That does help, thanks

Basically, an island, just like Puerto Rico is.

Some people say that Obama is more popular than Trump in Denmark. I dunno, many people are saying that.
I wouldn't be surprised that Obama would be more popular in Denmark than Trump.

China is looking at it, hope they turn them down. Actually, I think Greenland votes on independence in a year or two anyway.

If Trump somehow managed to buy Greenland, it would make me proud as an American. We'd expend our borders, have a new cool vacation destination without the need of a passport.

I don't think the natives want independence. They're basically bribed by the government of Denmark to have a cushy, easy life. Have you ever seen how some of those natives live up in Alaska? They get free checks from the government so they don't need to work. Life for them is just about fishing, hunting, atving, and long trips to Hawaii.

Well, I don't think like you. I don't feel the need for the USA to become an empire in the tradition of the British Empire. I wouldn't be proud at all. We have territories, and from what I've heard, some people want to get rid of Puerto Rico. What would be the point of buying Greenland.

Well, if arctic wasteland is your idea of a vacation paradise we already have Alaska. I hear the Brooks Range is nice this time of year.

We don’t need to buy it. Just build a military base there then announce that our citizens can travel without a passport. Then let our businesses start moving there. What is Denmark going to do?
