Thats what this fake news today is all about. Just introducing confusion to the story. Mulvaney admitted this pertained to wikileaks and thats it.
I'll connect the dots for you, my son.

Mulvaney says "yep, there was actually a quid pro quo", to which he adds "we do it all the time". Given that we already know Trump asked President Zelensky to "look into" alleged corruption by "the Bidens", that lends credence to the idea there was ALSO quid pro quo relating to the Biden investigation request.

It doesn't take Perry Mason to connect these dots.

Is it proof? No. Is it evidence? You bet.

He didn't have to. There was no other reason to hold the money up. However his buddy Mulvaney came right out with it. So there is that. As the Dems continue to build their case. Day. By. Day.

Wrong, again.

do·tard
/ˈdōdərd/
noun
an old person, especially one who has become physically weak or whose mental faculties have declined.

The "source" of the name? Why, it's Trump's very own best buddy Kim Jong Un, of course.

What "interest of the state" was Trump working toward?
They don't go by facts.

Maybe he should have, yep.

He didn't. It's not illegal. There is no evidence that Joe did something illegal on behalf of Hunter or Burisma.

So.......

Why? They're getting plenty done without it. Especially when you have people like Mulvaney get up on national television and tell people to get over that Trump does quid pro quo all the time, that politics runs foreign policy. Nice going, Mick. Didn't know you were playing for our team, buddy.

Not for the Bidens, no - nor did Mulvaney.

For Trump (in theory, since it's now getting walked back) to maintain thru Mulvaney that one of the investigative requests (DNC) made on July 25 was an acceptable quid pro quo but the second investigative request (Biden) had no connection to the military aid strikes me as a stretch.

Remember - other than some niceties - Crowdstrike and the Bidens were about the only things Trump had to talk about in that call. And then for it to turn out that even the so-called "acceptable" quid pro quo (DNC) appears now less justifiable per the DOJ disavowal???

Given this ^^^ (not to mention all the testimony to date) how credible is Trump on the Biden investigation request. All for the good of the USA but in the interim screw Ukrainian defense?

Your choice. Methinks he tells fibs.
