"Which makes no sense. Republicans are already part of the hearings."
Out of ALL the witnesses called, how many are repubs asked to appear?
"House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La
“Voting members of Congress are being denied access from being able to see what’s happening behind these closed doors where they’re trying to impeach the president of the United States with a one-sided set of rules,” Scalise continued. “They call the witnesses. They don’t let anybody else call the witnesses."
"Mr. Trump’s lawyers have been denied the chance to see evidence or call their own witnesses, and Republicans have been denied subpoena power. The work of the impeachment committees has been restricted, even from some Republican members of those committees."
Why is schiff only leaking info NEGATIVE to Trump?
If this is suppose some super "secret" hearing, why the leaks at all?
Rest your mind. There are 48 republicans in the hearings on the three committees doing the depositions. They have not been excluded from anything.
Man, good thing we have such a paragon of honesty in the White House or this nation would really be in trouble, eh?
Sorry, Trump supporters have lost all footing to castigate anyone else for telling lies/hyperbole/salesmanship or whatever else you want to call it.
For the umpteenth time, they aren't taking a vote because they don't need to, thanks to the GOP.
What was it Trey Gowdy said about closed hearings/depositions during the many Benghazi investigations, again? Oh, yeah: “The private ones [hearings] always produce better results.”
Would those be the 33 Benghazi Hearings, 32 of which were held behind closed doors...?
I'm willing for them to open the hearings up and make them public when Trump personally testifies for eleven hours.
The very same, yes.
Mr. Gowdy is an attorney, I believe. As an attorney and a former Congressman, I would think his opinion about the benefits of closed depositions/hearings would carry more weight than most.
I bet if you 100 maybe 200 more times on these forums they will do it! Thats the ticket!
