What was it Trey Gowdy said about closed hearings/depositions during the many Benghazi investigations, again? Oh, yeah: “The private ones [hearings] always produce better results.”
With a treaty between the two countries to root out corruption, president Trump was well within legal means to seek inormation of misdeeds of the Bidens, Joe's campaign for president aside doesn't shield him, or these allegations, from scrutiny.
If that is the case, then, all of the testimony should do nothing but prove him innocent of all charges.
