That money was returned to them when the agreement went into affect. Compliance had nothing to do with it. Coincidentally they also agreed to release some US hostages on the same day.
Compliance had EVERYTHING to do with it. Return of their money was PART of the AGREEMENT.

And really, the ONE nation that SHOULD NOT be permitted to EVER have them is the US...since we are the only nation to ever use them against an enemy, and not only once either!
Those two bombs saved more Japanese lives than American lives.
Yet another example of how DJTrump’s petty and vindictive small minded approach to decision making has harmed our national security.
We went from Iran having no enrichment WITH inspections of their nuclear facilities to verify compliance to now having enrichment started again with no inspections.
Iran knows that the POTUS does not have the political capital to start a war with Iran at this point or to stand up any new form of international enforcement mechanism to replace the deal he scuttled just to spite Obama.
