I really don't understand this, as you can get a better chicken sandwich at an independent restaurant than you can from any chain, and the sane applies to fried chicken and most other fast food.
By looking at their sales, obviously alot of people think otherwise
I have no idea; I don't eat that junk. There is a Popeye's in town. I saw on our city's FB page that there were people complaining about them running out of sandwiches. These are the same people who complain about everything you'd find in every city, mostly minor and stupid things. The hours of the public pool, for example, or that the light on such and such a street doesn't have a long enough green arrow or that their mail carrier stuffed a box in their mailbox rather than walk it to the door. No brawls that I'm aware of!

Sales of oven ready meals and processed food are vast however it doesn't mean it's the best food you can buy.
In terms of Fried Chicken and Chicken Burgers you can spend a little bit extra and buy something a lot better than that served in most fast food outlets.
I think most cities have good small independent outlets or smaller chains that serve very good chocken sandwiches or fried chicken.
" Can Someone Please Explain Why Americans Are Losing Their Minds Over Popeyes New Chicken Sandwich "
A lot of PR swaying the public to think they just had to have one. Ignorant people near poor neighborhoods that also fight at McDonald's. I've never seen anything at Popeye's worth fighting over, Raisin' Cane is a different story (jk).
