"House Republicans acknowledged that they have no witnesses and no documents to dispute the main facts concerning President Trump’s impeachable conduct: a demand from Ukraine for dirt on a political rival; withholding of aid vital to Ukraine’s defense against Russia; concealing evidence of the scheme by moving a transcript to a secret server; and threatening the tipster who alerted Congress to gross malfeasance. They admitted all that? Well, in a manner of speaking they did."

The facts are clear:
  • Trump tried to extort Ukraine into providing him with illegal election assistance.
  • Trump planned this all along, which is why he sent his personal lawyer Giuliani as an advance man to set it all up.
  • The military aid approved by Congress was withheld before the phone call to increase pressure on Ukraine.
Extortion and conspiracy to extort are federal crimes. Impeach Trump and indict Giuliani. We have to if law and order is ever going to prevail in the White House.

They admitted all that? Actually no, not at all, it's just more ridiculous partisan spin and outright lies from the Washington Post, but we've come to expect that by now.

Hopefully you just posted all of this to give people a laugh.

"...so the Democrats see no need for the whistleblower, who heard the story secondhand, to testify."

Lol. wut?

The whistleblower heard the story secondhand? Um...really?

Your honor, isn't that called 'hearsay' and inadmissible as evidence?

It's got to be a joke.

Whistleblower is so last month. Let it go. Everything he wrote has been confirmed by first hand witnesses. The WB is completely irrelevant now and anything he says is redundant. The only reason the Repubs want him to testify is so they can slander and smear him.

"Ignore the person who triggered this whole series of events" is a pretty funny line to have to go with and it makes it obvious that there is something to hide.

In the Senate, Republicans will surely stand by their party, not their country. Trump won't be removed. That might hurt their reelection chances in 2020.

Don't you get tired of hearing "THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN THIS TIME" BS for the last 3 years? Stormy failed, Mueller failed, and this Ukraine thing is going to fail. You are a sucker for punishment.
