I’m done watching live. It’s fun to see Schiff blink like caution light when he doesn’t like answer, makes me really want to play poker with him, but really it is just annoying. No one is going to change their mind, it is hysterical to see each side take the exact same quote and put a different spin on it.
The bottom line is:
Trump lacks finesse when he speaks so half of what he says comes off as insulting whether he means it or not. He is his own worse enemy.
Trump needs to lay off the Twitter.

He admitted POTUS sets foreign policy. But POTUS answers to other people as well: Congress. Not only that, POTUS ultimately answers to us, the American people. Too many politicians forget that. Congress already allocated the aid. Our country is not a monarchy. Trump does not rule the US like a king. We has a three branch system of government. Other people in his cabinet were mystified as to why the aid hadn't been released and the meeting hadn't taken place.

I'm not sure how you know that, but even if he is, why does it matter? The point is, many people thought the president was doing something wrong which was why there were so many alarms being sounded.

I agree with you here. I'm not sure this particular transaction warrants impeachment. I think it would be difficult to prove there was a demand vs a request. Trump's behavior throughout the years he has been president warrants impeachment, in my view. I believe he has abused his power, obstructed justice by blocking witnesses, and perhaps other things. But I am no legal expert. In any event, the voters will have the final say in everything.

I don't know what that means. I think Schiff knows who the whistleblower is also but I still think his identity doesn't matter now with all the witnesses they have.

I agree! I have been watching all the testimony and I'm about to fast forward through a lot of it. But I feel obligated because I think they are doing the American people a service by holding open hearings. In other countries we would not be able to see this, and we should be grateful we have as open a government as we do.
