OK. Got a good one: This is an article printed in The Huffington Post (a Libbie site) in which LBJ's anti-black remarks are quoted, including the one I mentioned. (Another is how he complained about the blacks getting "uppity these days.") LBJ was a racist Democrat who believed in anti-poverty programs because it kept blacks in their place and dependent on Dems for more, more, more:

Less than 10%. That is really, really bad.
Don't expect that number to go up, either. Not after Trump called the black parts of Baltimore a "rat-infested mess" and said that "countries with black leaders are s-hole countries."
Trump doesn't give a crap about minorities, unless it could benefit him in some way.
Translation: No way to respond to the fact that Snopes has been often decried as a biased site run by liberals.
OF COURSE, LBJ made that remark about keeping blacks voting Democrat for 200 years. It's been widely reported. But because it reveals how Democrats are only into hand-outs for blacks for the votes, naturally you try to squelch it.
Where are your "facts" that Snopes is a biased site? And how has this quote been widely reported? If you read the article, it will explain why LBJ never actually said this quote.

They use the LBJ thing in an attempt to belittle African Americans because we refuse their demands that we vote Republican. That’s all it is.
