So to the question I first made - what else was going on ? now came out. Did the mom then make this fight political?? Read the article kids just in a dumb brawl which they do- but had nothing to do with the dam hat.

I am not advocating crap. Get real. What I said was plain to anyone who can read: if you wear what has become a symbol of racism and intolerance (Trump hats) you should not be surprised when people take offense and even physical action. I'm not saying it is right (and it certainly is rare), but you don't pee into the wind. Free speech needs to be tempered with common sense.
The Nazi's used the same arguments as they labeled the Jewish people.
