Anyone praising what happened has no clue. Kidnapping and retaliation killings will likely occur anywhere. Remember the Lebanon hostage crisis? This isn't a simple situation where you kill a terrorist & it's done & the country is no longer an enemy.
I don't care who ordered the assassination, whether it was Obama, Bush, or Trump. Targeted assassinations are illegal & are for a reason.
you keep saying that. why don’t you respond to this post?

Rot in hell terrorist. Remember Soleimani also orchestrated the Benghazi attack in addition to Iraq. Embassies are US sovereign soil. We can’t allow terrorists to attack us multiple times without any retaliation. He’s also completely destabilized the region, ordered the majority of the attacks on our soldiers, literally no one outside of pro-regime Iranian fundamentalists like this guy. Everyone wanted him dead. Iran at worst will attack Iraqi, Saudi, possibly Israeli targets. Zero percent chance they will attack us directly in any way. The escalation here was with Soleimani and Hezbollah attacking our embassy. It wasn’t when Trump responded. 10000% the right move by Trump here. Good on him.

Here, here! It's unreal that liberals are trying to claim that killing a major Islamic terrorist is a bad thing. They would have us sit back and let these monsters attack us repeatedly.
So when they attack us, it's okay to do nothing.... You must not understand America very well... Look at these sad liberals that support terrorists.... Thank you President Trump!
But hang on
3,000 killed on 9/11 and President Trump says he did not, does not support the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.....and now --- one American mercanary is killed and you go after liberals because they are concerned with the latest attack that will lead to more war in the Middle East?
So really, this to you is all about a matter of respect? Being dissed? That's the stupidest hill to die on ever.
Well there is also the fact that your opponent doesn't "respect" your strength. They generally just turn to guerilla style tactics to avoid taking you head on.
If Obuma would have had the nerve to order such a strike the ones complaining about Trump would be saluting Obuma...... Yall know thats the truth lol
None of this is fact -- totally made up scenario based on your political bias.
The problem with Trump's actions are that he is erratic. One day he's pulling troops out of areas where we are fighting terrorists and the the next day -- one American is killed and he is going in guns a blazing.
As I said before -- every American President has not really been 'excited' about war.....OBama wanted to bring troops home, so did Trump...and here we are --- New Year's Eve sending troops to the Middle East.
But let's not pretend when Trump does it he's saving the world and the USA and when anyone else did it they were just war mongering PResidents.

If you allow them to get away with that, sure.
This strike was retaliation for exactly those kinds of tactics. If you retaliate directly against those countries for proxy attacks, the proxy attacks stop.
I mean, it should be obvious but if they are attacking you via proxies or gorilla tactics, they don't respect or fear you.

and we do it with drones. Where did all the etiquette go in fighting a war?
