Cipollone and Sekulow have flat-out lied about several provable facts. Schiff’s choice of words should be pretty far down on your list of outrages, frankly.
Choice of words? Schiff accused the defendant of crimes he wasn’t charged with, in front of the “jury”.
Yes. Both impeachments were purely political assaults on our country. Both attempts to nullify our votes, over politics, weakened us as a nation.
The next President will be impeached, the one after them will be impeached and every President from now on will be impeached. We will slowly turn back into the British form of rule over the People.

You are looking at this all wrong, it's a figure of speech saying Trump appealed to the SCOTUS. I mean, that is what it would eventually lead to. The executive branch would not be the ones actually filing a motion to appeal to SCOTUS. First the Dems would takes the matter to a lower court, then if they lose there, they appeal to SCOTUS, if Trump loses he appeals to SCOTUS.
Trump never needed to take that step because the Democrats withdrew their subpoenas. The dems knew they would lose.
So when you wrote “Trump appealed to SCOTUS” you meant “Trump did not appeal to SCOTUS.” This is what passes for logical reasoning in Trump-worship world.
The fact that a few of you say this, is just bizarre to me. OJ Simpson and Jeffrey Epstein both hired Dershowitz because they were rich, and they wanted the best. They could have afforded any attorney they wanted, and they chose Dershowitz. Same with the other high profile clients he has defended. If I were in trouble with the law, and Dershowitz was an option, I would hire him too. Especially if I was innocent.
So, lets say you were falsely arrested for murder, and Dershowitz said he would defend you for the same price as your lawyer wants to charge. Are you telling me that you would turn that down and go with your own lawyer? Anyone who says “yes” to this question, when their life is on the line, is an idiot.
Dershowitz was really only an advisor on the OJ Simpson trial. Kind of like here. He inserted himself in a way where he got maximum publicity for minimum amount of work. OJ's lawyers that got him off were Shapiro and Cochran.
