Stark contrast to due process. The Jury nor the Judge can be the prosecutor.
Democrats claim they have proven without a doubt Trump is 110% guilty of bribery and extortion (although those crimes aren’t in the articles of impeachment). An airtight case, with overwhelming evidence. Yet they need more witnesses that has first hand knowledge and not hearsay.

Hahahahaha. What a JOKE!

Democrats are DONE!

Your post sounds like you are more happy to be winning against the democrats than caring about what brought this country to where it is with this impeachment in the first place. I find that sad. Our country is broken.

No, no one with two neurons to rub together has noticed that Schiff, etc. are "frothing at the mouth" and "barking like junk yard dogs."

Good grief. Why post such BS?

Trump's defenders started out claiming that Trump never conditioned the release of military aid on Ukraine announcing investigations into Biden and supporting Putin's propaganda. On Saturday, Trump's attorneys opened their arguments by declaring that no witness heard Trump say this.

On Sunday, former NSA Bolton announced he heard Trump say just that.

Trump tweeted that he “NEVER told John Bolton that the aid to Ukraine was tied to investigations into Democrats, including the Bidens.” "Fox News began frantically suggesting that Bolton, of all people, was a secret agent of the left-wing “deep state.”

"On Monday, Trump’s lawyers resumed their defense in the Senate by arguing that there was no evidence of a quid pro quo in the “House record,” as if everyone knew nothing of the Bolton account, which was on every newscast, news website, and newspaper.

Then on Wednesday, Dershowitz announced that a Trump can only be impeached only if he acts solely from “corrupt motives.” If Trump believes he is acting in the public interest, then he can do whatever he wants.

If a Senate majority accepts this argument, it will provide the rationale Republicans need to conclude the trial, and acquit Trump without hearing Bolton's or any other witness testimony.

It will also mark the surrender of the legislative branch to the executive, and the end of the U.S.'s constitutional balance of power system of government.

Well, it's become perfectly clear Republicans do not want a President. They want a Dictator.

Well the GOP Senators like Rick Scott are now pushing Russian propaganda.

It really is bad when the defense lawyer says whatever the POTUS thinks is the right thing to do is legal.

I do not live in a fascist dictatorship.

I live in a Constitutional Republic.

Trump is guilty and needs to be removed as put forth by that Constitution.

2. A president telling citizens, whether soldiers or not, to vote for him is routine. All presidents seeking re-election do that. That is not in any way comparing to secretly blackmailing a desperate foreign government.

Oh, and about that swamp - no, most expert say that it's worse, if anything. If part of the supposed swamp is unethical behavior and criminality, well, just look at the number of Trump people who left in disgrace or were slapped down by the law.
Will you people be having a pity party on Friday when the President is acquitted?
Maybe you could get a refund from the law school you attended.

I like the fascist state Trump's lawyers think we live in.

As long as you think you are right you cannot be guilty.

Trump and the GOP have created a law team which will make sure law and order go away.
