There is currently a lawsuit pending in Texas where the lower Court has already pulled the plug on the ACA in its entirety on the basis that Trump's abolishment of the individual mandate required it to be scrapped. Republicans are the plaintiffs in the lawsuit and its is being actively supported by Trump's DoJ. The Republicans just put in filings begging the courts to wait until after the election to hear appeals because they fear that destroying the ACA prior to the election would hurt Republican chances.
It's all a part of the process to undo the ACA. But no one is talking about essentially pulling the plug, and canceling out everyone's health care insurance. leaving millions without anything, so people "die a painful death!"
Every single American citizen is either sick now. was sick in the past, or will be sick in the future. Trump realizes that to deny people with preexisting conditions the ability to buy health care insurance, is ignorant.
The tricky part is writing a law which takes care of us, and prevents the leeches from gaming the system. That would be the analogy where you go to a junk yard, by a Corvette that was completely totaled, get insurance, fix the car for $50,000 repair bill, with your $500 deductible, then cancel your policy.
We do have people that are nothing but leeches on the rest of society. They would go without insurance until they have an injury or sickness, buy insurance with all of us paying to cure them, and then cancel the insurance once they are healthy, and repeating that ad nauseam.

While most of your post MIGHT be true, the bold is not. Some people die without being sick at all (other than perhaps a cold or something of that nature), although -- admittedly -- that is not the way it usually goes.

No one, not trump, not the Republicans in congress, no one is talking about pulling the plug on the ACA, resulting in the canceling of all policies, and leaving 130 million Americans without any health care coverage.
130 million Americans have preexisting conditions and coverage now under Obama care which Trump is trying to eliminate as fast as possible!

The economy includes many factors, not just GDP.
Yes and they all aren't that great for Trump. Middle class is getting a shalacking and will get more with the end of the middle class tax holiday under Trump's tax cuts.

It was great under Clinton. A man that is a Centrist by comparison today, and would never be nominated by Democrats today. Just like the Anti Communist JFK. He would never be nominated today.
Here is the thing though, JFK and Clinton were still to the right of the Democratic Party. At those times the nation was largely center right with Rockefeller Republicans. Under JFK the first wave conservatives like Barry Goldwater started becoming popular and by Clinton, we saw Reagan Conservatives. Quite frankly, the nation changed in the 30 years since Bill came on the national scene, let alone the 60 since JFK.
But on the other hand, the Republicans are FAR from the Party of Lincoln, like they always promote to be. They are a Party of Conservtives and Authoritarians now, even criminals.
