Default Donald Trump’s 3rd State of the Union Address Tumbles in Broadcast TV Ratings

How can the reality TV prez look himself in the mirror and see “bad ratings.” What a loser, sad. Someone get him on suicide watch stat!

This third SOTU from the 45th president of the United States of America is currently down 26% in Big-4 broadcast viewers from his second. According to early Nielsen returns, CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox drew a combined 16 million viewers for the 2020 address. That tally is preliminary, however, and should be considered subject to (upward) adjustment.

The comparable initial tally last year was 21.6 million across those four networks.

Typical false argument that i have been hearing for years, as if life after the repeal of the ACA will result in 130 million people immediately losing their health care, and be left with nothing.

Even the Democrats in their primary were using the ACA as a club to beat Biden with.

So, you're ranting on something that has not been finished counting?

Do you live in Iowa by chance?

I thought I was watching Inter dimensional Cable where it was one channel that had 24/7 footage of Trump just rambling on and on... forever...

I thought this graph of the number of viewers by year from 1993 through 2019 was interesting.
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...iewer-numbers/

From your article above: "The comparable initial tally last year was 21.6 million across those four networks." This figure was 25.2 million viewers off (more than double their initial count).

I'll wait till the counts are in. However, I don't doubt the total may be down. Most people I know are absolutely sick of the division and grandstanding of our politicians.

You keep posting a link to liberal Newsweek, but this whole bit about pre-existing conditions is a farce. Obama did NOT require insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions. All a plan has to do is omit an in-network physician for a specific specialty, forcing a customer to go out-of-network where they have no coverage. So let's say that ABC Insurers does NOT want to be bothered treating people with....say.....rheumatoid arthritis. All ABC Insurers need to do is not include a rheumatologist in their network. DONE.
