Here is where the Democrats are quite damned to hell.

Democrat Iowa Caucus - Voter Participation (final alignment)

  • 2016 - 139,185
  • 2020 - 108,071
  • Decrease - 22.4%
That ought to be scaring the hell out of the Democrats.
I suspect several million more were driven away last night.

(BTW RCP had Biden between 1st and 2nd place. He came in a distant 4th. Barely won 3 measly delegates)

Limbaugh was a drug addict. Limbaugh also publicly denied that smoking was harmful. I would say that Limbaugh beat up on our youth! Not going to make him a hero as he was a bad example for our children.

BTW, Limbaugh should have believed the medical community about the dangers of smoking.

130 million Americans have preexisting conditions and coverage now under Obama care that Trump is trying to erase as fast as possible. Trump saying he would help those with preexisting coverage was the BIGGEST LIE OF THE ENTIRE SPEECH!! Newsweek article describes it best...I can post others if you like too...

Why does anyone who never smoked get cancer?

No, I don't know that. What was attached to that bill that would cause repubs to allow fixed income seniors to continue paying so much for necessary medications?

I’ve said this before, I refuse to watch the SOTU address regardless of who holds the office of President. Those of the president’s political party stand and applaud the president’s every statement while those of the opposing party sit on their hands in protest. Would like to see one of two things happen in the SOTU address.
1. Everyone holds all applause or boos until after the address is complete
2. Everyone, regardless of political party, applaud those things which they feel are good for the nation as a whole even if they feel it’s bad for their party’s future elections.

Instead we get a pep rally for the party of the president and the opposing party looking like sour puss even for things they know are good for the country.
