From when i started working in 1984 until '08/'09 i don't ever remember it being an issue or complicated. It was always just a small payment taken out of my check.

I want to stop having to worry about reassessing plans every year to find out what the new limits are since all plans constantly change under the current insane system and its spiraling costs.

One simple plan for everyone that's cheaper, results in better national health, and eases tons of administrative burden in health care delivery.
Why can’t you pay for other people’s expenses voluntarily?

Let’s start with you paying mine.

When you want to do something, do it with your own money. Put your own money where your big mouth is.

Don’t be liberal with my money.

It’s not complicated. Get the government out of healthcare and we shall see price drop and better service.

Exactly. It is Congress that is limiting the number of doctors, not the AMA.

The AMA continues to support the gangsters who have rationed doctors for nearly 100 years. Got it.
They are lobbying for more residencies, so, no, you haven't got it.

Quote:
Importing foreign docs won't help because the vast majority have to do a U.S. residency at behest of AMA-supported regulation.

Got it again. This is fun.
They have to do a US residency in order to insure competency.

No, you still do not have it.

So you admit that government-programs kill more folks than at least somewhat more privatized systems?

Got it again. Thanks.
I have no idea how you came to that conclusion. The point is that the article you referenced is garbage. Even critics in the UK see that.

Again you still don't have it.

Sure, in public that's their official stance. But the $424 million they've given in political contributions since 1998 kind of makes me question their motivation.

Just like how you need a license to instruct someone how to do downward-facing-dog across numerous states throughout the nation or even give a kid a bowl cut. It's all about "insuring competency".

Uh huh.

They don't call it "practicing" medicine for nothing. Believe what you will.

Delusional post.

This is a political board.

If you don't like the policy I agree with (M4A), propose another.

The AMA is lobbying for more doctors, not fewer.

If you want someone "practicing" on you without having to demonstrate competency, feel free.
