In your interpretation but you are not there to what is happening.
Hence we have the situation of any cop on the street. Why should I do the job when any armchair quarterback can call the situation different and have me fired, take away my livelihood?
Spend some time in her shoes before you claim you know it all.
But how is the media changing anything?
Where is it changing policies?
As far as people speaking out about it, we have that freedom and I support a bloody war against anyone taking that away.
Our voices are pointless if nothing is changing and the ones whining about it need to grow a thicker skin.
And yet, we are talking less than 1% of the police force being injured in the Hollywood Shootout and yet from that incident, nationwide changes were made to protect them and beef up their arsenal. We should do the same and have nationwide changes on the police force for such a small percent as well.
They did it when it was one of their own injured, we can do it for innocents killed as well. If they dont like it, like they say to everyone else, look for another job.
a lot of them do. It's already happening in a lot of large police agencies
Talented & good city/county/state cops do not stay around for long with all the "**** the police" rhetoric. Many of them bounced and got picked up by FBI/DEA/ICE/USMS. One of my best buddies was a former LASD deputy and now he works as an FBI agent in their cyber division. Dude has a degree from MIT and a USMC veteran.
You drive all the good cops away with your "**** the police" rhetoric. Guess who's going to be working for your department/city? ****ty cops that no federal agency would touch with a 10 feet pole, or brand new rookies.

When they kill innocents and nothing changes that is saying **** the citizens.
Again, show me some policy changes to protect the innocent. All I hear is crickets.

They did rule that the shooting was unjustified, terminated him, and brought him up on murder charges. It was a jury that handed back a not guilty verdict. If you're going to blame someone, blame the jury.

The jury did not give him his old job back so he could get his pension for life. His buddies did.
He'll be sucking off the govt tit for the rest of his life.

Well, there we go what I said about armchair quarterbacks.

that makes zero sense because the majority of police agencies (at least here in CA) requires you to take the psych test + poly test to as part of the hiring process
