There is an election this year. The voters should make that decision.

I think a lot of people are finally going to realize that the emperor has no clothes. Too bad it got to this stage. Trump made a huge mess of things. It's going to take decades to finish the cleanup.

the most callous and evil among us celebrate such a catastrophe.
I DK anyone celebrating.

A stimulus package will likely be forthcoming which may include some federal tax relief for airlines, cruise lines, hotels, energy, state aid and maybe an Andrew Young type of freedom dividend check for everyone.

Has this become the new "all things stock market" thread?

The "Trump is the greatest on the economy" thread was open and active for over two years while things were doing really well for Trump. ( https://www.city-data.com/forum/poli...onomy-dow.html )

But just a few weeks after the market has crashed and Trump is being criticized, suddenly it's been locked.

Is this where we discuss everything stock market related now?

That would require a 20% drop from Friday’s close.

I cannot imagine.

It will be left to the Democrats to clean it up, just like it was in 2009. They'll get the economy back on its feet and the voters will forget all about how the Republicans continually tank the economy with their insane tax breaks for the wealthy and stupid tariff wars, and hand it right back to them.

Rinse and repeat.
