Pence "commended" us in Colorado, and the several other states who have set up testing center.

Was china prepared? If so, why did they have to build so many temporary buildings?

Yea, we are so screwed....just as we were with every other corona virus in the last 50+ years.....
My post about the quality of Chinese building seems to have disappeared. However, I agree, building this temporary hospital is an indication they weren't prepared either.

The issue is the poor storage and consumption of wild animals. Most zoonotic diseases spring from animal to human contact.

If you want to read a very interesting book David Quamen Spillover is the book

If we had any chance of stopping it from entering the USA I could see the push but now... that is over and besides flattening the curve we face no choice but to get it at some point.
The only thing they are trying to control is how many catch it at the same time so the hospital system isn't overloaded.

How about you do, instead?

I'm combating those on the left that are ok with this shutdown of the country, all for a virus that has killed less than the 100 people a day in the US that die of car accidents.

Are you ready to take my car away from me too?

Well, really, folks should take the flu more seriously. But you're comparing a nine inning baseball game (flu deaths in 2018) to a game in the bottom of the first (Covid 19 deaths so far)

Also, do you think ALL of the governments of the world are all over reacting?

This is extremely dangerous.
Crying wolf about climate change is losing traction, so now off to viral panic over a virus.

Hobgoblins and all; OMG, there's always a crisis!

Same as it ever was.

Sadly yes and I suspect we'll be seeing more stories like that.

Firefighters in SC are in quarantine because of the 2 new cases this morning in Myrtle Beach.
I guess they didn't tell the EMC's they might have the virus.

Now 911 operators will ask on every single call.
