I get that but when does this lock-down of seniors end? If we are vulnerable now, we are vulnerable in 6 months, and in a year. The isolation of seniors only works if the virus is eradicated but quarantines don't eradicate they just delay the inevitable.
They have to show me that they have this all thought out before I am staying home. Right now it does not look like they have a long range plan and they are just winging it.
If the virus cannot be eradicated, then the plan has to be how do we live with it or at least control the damage. I don't think it can be eradicated but we will find out. SARS miraculously vanished.
In any event I don't live in California so for me it is moot but I feel badly for my fellow boomers.

This whole thing is stupid.
Once again, society gets turned upside down because of a percentage of the population. This virus is a joke to the majority of the population so why should we all suffer?
Quarantine only the percentage of people that need it like all the old bags and people with compromised health issues.

These two could have done something positive instead they headed off on a 1300 mile road trip stockpiling items from various stores that are in short supply and critical to stop spreading the virus. I hope they end up paying.

Having read that person's posts on here, I'm sure 90% of her panic is politically motivated. If Hillary were in charge doing the exact same thing Trump were doing, there wouldn't be an issue. Of course, under that scenario the media and state and local Democrats wouldn't be intentionally causing mass hysteria.
This is insanity. All this chaos over this stupid virus that all the experts agree is nowhere near as bad as the flu, ebola, swine flu, and all the other recent outbreaks.
