Some folk, here, are so individualistic. Contrary to some thoughts, the Founders did create a balance between individual (ninth amendment?) and collective responsibility (preamble does say to promote the general welfare).

Folk in those two American counties, both on two opposite ends of the cultural spectrum, both can't afford access. Providing for them is considered "entitled?"

Yup but not based on federal guidelines, based on political pressure from Trump to get back up and running by his May 1st deadline.

It's a sham.

Leftists try to get too much mileage out of "promote the general welfare". They think enforcing government diktats, installing socialism, and providing endless taxpayer-funded largess falls under the banner of "promote the general welfare." There seems to be no end to what people think should be provided to others at someone else's expense.

You might want to look at who the beneficiaries of the taxpayer-funded largess is. It ain't the general public. Trump loves bailing him out some big corporations.

Reports suggest many have had coronavirus with no symptoms

A flood of new research suggests that far more people have had the coronavirus without any symptoms, fueling hope that it will turn out to be much less lethal than originally feared.

In the last week, reports of silent infections have come from a homeless shelter in Boston, a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, pregnant women at a New York hospital, several European countries and California.

The head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 25% of infected people might not have symptoms. The vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. John Hyten, thinks it may be as high as 60% to 70% among military personnel.
I'm not sure this is such great news. We still have ~2000 people dying every day from Covid-19, the #1 cause of death right now. The fact that many people may have had it asymptomatically doesn't help the dead.

It's happening. And we are going to be alright. Every day, death estimates are revised downwards and sampling suggests infection rates are 50x-80x higher than originally thought. Lots of people have had this virus with zero symptoms to include the homeless, who I thought were going to be absolutely decimated by the virus.

I'm through listening to all the fear-mongering, which if you don't agree with, turns into a fear-fueled rage and an unspoken, but very much felt wish that people would die because they won't conform to terrified peoples' "common-sense" fear directives and protocols.

Case in point: Beachgoers in FL.

Again, another lie, yesterday was less than 2000.

Plus, as the numbers go down, those who want to keep the panic going and the economy closed are changing the metrics. Now they are counting COVID deaths as those who “probably” had it by virtue of symptoms.

So those with covid symptoms that died didn’t have the virus?
