There is no “ our” without “them” . It’s a mutual dependency.
As of this moment there are 11,784 Americans dead. There is no question that if Trump hadn't botched the response that number would be lower. If we had aggressive testing and an aggressive national stay-at-home response from the get-go some deaths would have been prevented.

At the end of the day, the pensioners are going to end of having to settle for less, just like SS recipients are likely going to see a reduction in the next decade or so. The obligations are unsustainable. And that's just a shame.
