Those states are showing improvements while some other states that are opening up have increasing death rates.
Deaths that happen a day to a few days after opening up have nothing to do with opening up. Those were people who were already sick prior to opening up.
Thats pretty pathetic and sad actually, its only been a little over a month now!! Geez, people today are so weak, I read so many of their comments online...this one girl from my state, she commented on one of the Governors posts, she asked what she was supposed to do if she had to go back to work, but daycares were not allowed to open yet, and how would she be able to go to work?...Sheesh, how about FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF and find a way!!!
I guess she was expecting the governor to address her concern or tell her specifically what to do. LOL
I see other people, whining and crying about the restrictions, they are starting to use the words 'tyrannical' and 'unconstitutional'...and they are also asking questions...they want SOMEONE ELSE to do something about it and right the wrongs! LOL Hello...this is America...if your govt is becoming tyrannical...THAT IS UP TO THE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH!! (its not like the FBI or CIA is going to step in and correct it).

The problem is this whole situation is being referred to as the "new normal" instead of a temporary inconvenience and people dont want to accept that.
Yes, exactly. Out of one side of their mouths they scold the protesters claiming they are "whining" about being "inconvenienced" for a month or two while out of the other side of their mouths they are talking about getting used to the "new normal." It just shows they cannot be trusted.
This just reinforces what I have always said about we humans. We are not as smart as we think we are. Just because we have been forced, by a deadly virus, to change our lives, some people can not control themselves enough to accept that and act accordingly.
Let these buffoons go ahead and get infected, just stay away from the rest of us who are smart enough to stay safe, even if it is temporarily inconvenient.
Yes, it's not as if things are closed down for some reason that could be protested.. some are not getting it.
So are you against all safety measures for everything? Are you against seat belts? Condoms? Sunscreen? I guess we don't need those things either.

You and JaneMeyer have quite similar view points. There is nothing "safety measure" about having people locked in their homes except to go to the grocery store. Their money will run out and they won't even be able to buy groceries. There's nothing safe about being forced to go without food. There's no good quality of life in having to sit at home staring at the walls or watching TV all day.
You against condoms? Kind of useless to have condoms when you're not supposed to hook up and have sex anymore because you have to stay two yards away from everyone. You against sunscreen? What's the point of sunscreen when the pools are going to be closed all summer and you can't go anywhere anyway? I guess we won't need those things for at least a few months.
We are already seeing it across the country. People are getting antsy. There’s protests storming the capitals of different states. I think there’s fatigue all over. I’m already seeing more people having “get togethers” and posting it on social media. More and more people are going to start ignoring the social distancing. Now with the weather getting nice I think we’ll see even more people ignoring. I know people already planning 4th of July BBQ’s.
Some people will always view government as their worst enemy. Let them protest, let them gather and spout their false rhetoric. It their lives. Of course they are facilitating the virus‘s spread but so be it. I think it’s nature’s way of a mass clean up.

There is no short term with this virus. If people want to risk their life for corporate profit margins or some politicians re election chances than go right ahead. But there is no solution other than a longterm lockdown or basically letting people die en masse till herd immunity is reached
The experts tell us that there won't be a vaccine for at least a year...... maybe more.
That it may not even be possible.
What good is continuing the shutdowns another month going to do in that scenario?
How long should we cower in our homes, losing our jobs, eating up our savings , letting our businesses go under?
Are you going to stay barricaded in your home the rest of your life?
