Are the number of cases truly climbing, or is it simply that more are being identified because testing has ramped up? In my state, we’ve increased the number of daily tests by 50% in the last week or so, and now the governor is saying we can’t move into Phase I (still very restrictive) because we have more cases.
I actually think the cases could be going down. We showed an increase of about 15% over a few days, but then again we increased testing by 50%. That means things could be getting better, but the liberal governor will try to keep that hidden in order to push through more socialism-type programs.
THe whole thing in Georgia is that there has been no two week decline as laid out in the federal guidelines.
And according to medical experts -- the only way to know how many people have the virus is to test and that is critical to returning to normal.
So are you against all safety measures for everything? Are you against seat belts? Condoms? Sunscreen? I guess we don't need those things either.
Seat belts/condoms/sunscreens do not make you lose your income and businesses. Who is going to pay for your rent, mortgage, food, car payments, etc. when you don’t earn an income?
But please continue with your stupid whataboutism and dumb comparisons
The virus is causing the shutdown, not the government. People should have basic common sense to social distance on their own and not associate at high risk. Many obviously do not. Just because businesses reopen does not mean that everybody is going to participate. Many will continue to social distance on their own without having to be “told”.
Don't be surprised when the reopened restaurants, bars, gyms, theaters, etc. are not filled to full capacity.
I would hope you wont need a mask to go to a bar or restaurant lol
High risk individuals and others who don’t feel it’s safe to leave their homes should stay home awhile longer. Those who feel safe out in public should be allowed to be out in public.
This seems so simple: mind yourself and your family; and mind your own business when it comes to the decisions of others. That’s what freedom is.
That's the point, what someone does is not my business. If they want to go on a date then let them. I cant control what other people do. I expect HUGE crowds at the park today since it will be sunny and 72
They who? Are you saying that all the people you call "so-called experts" are telling lies to personally take away your rights and lie to you?
I will sell you a tin mine.
Everything in life is either true or false. There is no in between. If something isn't true then it is false. If it is false then it is a lie. When those in power keep saying two more weeks knowing that they intend to keep people in for months then they are purposely lying! When the authorities plot out to purposely lie about a situation to keep the public in compliance then why should anyone ever trust them?
As long as people getting free government money that equals more than what they normally would get.
I mean...how are people who makes no money going to survive unless money is provided for them?
It's easy for retired people getting SS and people that can work from home to say " as long as necessary ".
Say that to people who has no income right now due to the "lockdown".
There are many people who are not getting any money at all and aren't going to be allowed to get money. I am one of them.
The latest from the govt is that CV 19 be a problem for 2 years. Are you planning to shelter in place and wear a mask for two years. No school for 2 years. No sports for two years. No travel for two years. How are 30 million people without jobs going to survive without jobs. Can you go with no haircut for two years? You get the idea?
That’s what some people want. They don’t think logically.
