I never said that. You twist everything around, due to your liberal intolerance of anyone who raises a legitimate issue when it involves one of the "protected minorities." My point is that when women get more and more support for each child (more food stamps, each kid gets Medicaid, bigger subsidized apartment, etc.) that they are not forced to consider whether or not they can afford to have another child ( as do responsible middle-class people who must support their own kids). They know he/she will be taken care of by taxpayers.
And stop with the bit about hateful attitudes toward blacks. I've never said anything hateful, and in fact have developed some nice friendships with some black people on this very forum. Not surprisingly, they are all conservative blacks (you know....whom Biden would say aren't really black), since my problems are not with blacks, but with liberals. I especially appreciate black conservatives, when I come across them, because I know they have the strength and independent thought to have moved from the Democrat Party, just the way I appreciate Jews who have done the same.
All I've done, again, is point out that the high OOW rate does correlate with poverty. Why hateful leftists call "racist" to anyone who rightly points out that a very common behavior pattern among blacks is correlated with poverty yet is proud to target the small percentage of Jews, with putdowns about studying Torah and Yiddish and targeting them for complaints about social distancing when non-Jews have done the same, is the pot calling the kettle black.

That's true. While liberals love to bring up that group of ultra-Orthodox Jews who apparently are on welfare*, that amounts for about 3% of all Jews, who, as a group, are more highly educated than average and higher earners than average. The venomous attack on religious Jews, while revealing the liberal animus toward religious people in general, is not comparable at all. (Besides, it's really telling when liberals lambast everyone as racist and then LUUUUUVVVVE to bring up Jews, out of the blue, and say the most bigoted, mocking things.)
Leaving the Jews out of it, the fact is that blacks DO have 70% out of wedlock births, and single-parenthood is closely correlated to poverty, and the consequences of it. Rather than say, "hey, 3% of those useless Torah-studying Jews do it too!," it would solve a lot of the problems in the black community if they were to curtail this unbelievably high rate of illegitimate births.
*Every Orthodox Jews I've known has always worked for a living and supported his family. Just sayin'.

Actually, looking at places like Brazil and Colombia, which have high out of wedlock birth rates, and little welfare to speak of, I don't blame welfare for it. I think the lack of shame will mean people would do crap like this no matter what.
This is why I don't blame welfare, at least not on its own. If one wants to talk about out of wedlock birth rates in the Black population, this is what I will mention. This has been a problem for Black people far beyond the 60s. While there were certainly more children being born in wedlock than now, Black Americans have led the country in out of wedlock births as far back as the 1930s. During part of the 50s, Black OOW birth rates went as high as 40%. White OOW birth rates never got any higher than 7% between the 1930s and 1960s. Blacks have been doing worse than everyone else for ages. It was bad for Black people, BEFORE the welfare state. In fact, during the 1930s, there was a welfare program set up for indigent mothers who either
1) Were widowed
2) Were abandoned by their husbands.
The way the program was set up, certain occupations could get it. Domestic and agricultural workers couldn't get it. Because alot of Blacks worked in agricultural and domestic jobs (where you get paid under the table) alot of Blacks were excluded from receiving from that program. Black women were less likely to be able to receive welfare, but Black out of wedlock birth rates rose from 31 percent during the early 1930s to 38 percent at the end of the decade. The last time Black out of wedlock birth rates were under 30 percent was between 1940-1944. I suspect alot of men going of to war had something to do with it.
