Probably because when a "White" person leaves their house in the morning and they are stopped by a Cop they are expecting to go home at the end of the day and not in a body bag.
Unarmed blacks killed by police is extremely rare. That you have to create fake drama where none exists is repulsive.
50% of black males who die between the ages of 15-34 die at the hands of other blacks.
We are discussing the killing of unarmed men who are already detained and of no threat. These stats are irrelevant to the discussion.
Unarmed men killed by police is extremely rare. That you think that is important in the scheme of things is a reflection of your inability to understand what is important.
Milwaukee has a 9 p.m. curfew tonight. Protesters have been marching downtown, in certain neighborhoods and onto the freeway shutting part of it down for a while. I expect tonight there will be looting and vandalism. Unfortunately, this gives the ne'er-do-wells an opportunity to misbehave. They've attacked local minority-owned businesses, totally clearing out some of the stores, stripped a Walgreen's bare. That behavior, of course, undermines and erases the message - and only serves to harden the divide.
This might be radical but these officers need to be held accountable some kind of way. It's obvious the system lets them get away with murder so we can't count on that.
If someone made an example of a few wayward officers and inflicted some torture on a family of an officer who used unnecessary brutality in their job, other similarly inclined officers would think twice not wanting to expose their family to the consequences of their brutality.
Something has got to be done about bloodthirsty individuals in law enforcement.
The ex cop who knelt on Mr. Floyds neck should have his trial, and when found guilty be immediately taken out back and shot dead with the same mercy her showed Mr. Floyd.
I rather see street justice in the general population of the Minnesota state corrections system. Just saying... We all know he'll get off because cops can never be found guilty for on the job murders...

He won't get away with this. It is far too blatant. Almost nine minutes on Floyd's neck. He's going to prison. Though I'd read somewhere he's had 12 complaints for use of excessive force. This isn't his first offense.
Unfortunately, you're always going to have "bad apples" in all professions. Has always been that way.. Always will be. Not sure what protests, rubber bullets, setting cars ablaze, skateboards to windshields are going to solve. A few dirty employees don't make up an entire organization
You can't have bad apples in jobs like police. Period.
Now we get to see how the radical left repays the Democrat governors and mayors who have for decades bent over backwards to enact all the their ridiculous progressive policies.
Very happy to know the officer has been arrested for murder but even better, his wife has officially filed for divorce. I suspect she's been unhappy with this man for a long time. This was the catalyst that pushed her to finally make the break. I wish her well. It's better to live alone than in a toxic marriage.
