Only if no one wants to live there by choice. Check out Suburbia, USA. Too many teachers chasing too few teaching jobs.
Just because you say its true doesn't mean that's the case.. I have suburban schools contacting me to see if I would be interested in their district because they are not getting qualified applicants..
Which is why last year Illinois had 1200 teaching jobs unfilled because they couldn't find certified people?
People are getting out of teaching because of poor pay and idiot parents, thus the shortage
And people can't/won't go into teaching because before they can take the pay cut and live the horrors, they have to pay serious time and money into the education guild to receive permission.
And if they raised the pay and got rid of the idiot parents, the guild would simply tighten the restrictions to ensure nobody already guilded could be displaced by an interloper.

^^^^This is the sad truth. Thank the Teacher's Unions also, AFT, NEA, etc. YOUR TAX DOLLARS at work!
Yeah.... no, I doubt that. One, children get it or have gotten it. Same as the flu. They pass it on. Teahers are no more at risk than anybody else. Maybe less so. Now they're saying asymptomatic people are not likely to pass on the virus. And if they practice social distancing in schools( they won't, way too expensive) that means more teachers and fewer students in classrooms. Easier jobs for teachers.
Kids aren't at risk so they may try to make it look like they're protecting them but it will all be pretty pointless and short lived.
