I think a lot of this hatred for truckers, is actually hatred of the trucks themselves...people generally dont like trucks on the roads, they are slow movers, rolling roadblocks, no one wants to get stuck behind one.

One of the juveniles at this site has been prattling "I want a self-driving car!" for six years now, and we are nowhere close to everyday implementation of this concept in even the most user-friendly of areas.
