If new cases of COVID-19 don't spike in the coming days due to all the protesters not practicing 'Social Distancing', yelling and screaming without wearing masks, spiting on others, etc, the Lockdown will be proven to have been a malicious deception perpetrated upon all US citizens by the Left, supported by their puppets in the MSM, in order to tank the economy as yet another attempt to discredit President Trump before the Primary Election later this year.
I've been wondering about this. If there is no surge in cases, one could very plausibly make the case that the whole thing was a twisted hoax, as the OP states. Or one could say that the virus was real, but it has faded away and is no longer a threat. Either way, I think we can safely say that public support for social distancing and wearing masks will evaporate.
Get ready for all the news articles saying that there's a huge spike in cases. Even though that makes zero sense because I doubt a bunch of young gen z/millennials are in a rush to get tested, so you'll know its BS when you see it.
I'm less interested in cases, I wanna see if we see actual sick people this time. Then I'll take it serious.

I'm not sure if you're posting this to actually convince other people that what you're saying is true? (it's not)
No. Because the "malicious deception" of our educational system is that we teach math, science, or biology.
Be realistic here - set aside your ideology for one flippin' second, and do some 4th grade problem-solving instead.
Who dies from COVID? Old people. Who is protesting?
Who gets SICK from COVID? All people. But few show symptoms.
Who gets TESTED from COVID? People with symptoms.
How many get tested? As many and as fast as the tests allow...
In other words - the only spike you could possibly see is an increase in positive tests, matching the rate of testing, which is already rising at a pretty good clip. About 20,000 a day positive confirmed tests we add. Lots more aren't positive. It means we test 50K a day or 200K a day or .. .A LOT.
To make that number move - much - you'd have to administer lots and lots more tests - that ain't gonna happen. But if it did - and 100,000 YOUNG people just got infected - how many show symptoms and get tested? Few.
A spike at all would appear in the number of dead vulnerable relatives to these young people, a month or two from now. Kids don't care if they're sick. But they just killed gramma to throw some bricks through a window. How many "vulnerable" people will die as a result? No idea. But even if it were 1000, they would not be on the same day, and we're still burying 700-1100 EVERY day, so it will be a hard spike to notice, in any event.
You were never going to see a "crazy" spike no matter what - and it proves nothing regarding the past. But it may prove something regarding critical thinking skills and our educational system.
Except state agencies from the left-wing states where there were protests can just go in and put in bigger numbers with no accountability. Thanks to HIPAA, there isn't exactly a way to go back and link exact patients to exact numbers.
